Your OEM lights will operate as intended. Daytime running lights and fire as a high beam. The projector gets the power to drop the shield via the spitter wire thats connected to the OEM high beam connector. I hope this makes sense.

You should order grey sealant and I would select a high bulb kelvin. 4000k bulbs will severely limit your light output. The kit that I've been putting together for years has 6000k bulbs and they are pure white. If you don't want 6000 increase from 4000k. Make sure you pick up some dialectic...

I'm in conversation's with Elate Mfg to add their supercharger kit along a upgraded ECU that's programmable, a Bosch 82mm electronic throttlebody with a drive-by wire pedal, once I put a few thousand miles on the engine. They indicated with the right setup I could see 400 plus WHP. I'm not sure...

My 80 has not been driven or had legal tags since 2020. Well that's about to change...the trucks down at Iron Pig to have the new motor installed. We do have a fitment issue with the JBA header so we have Doug Thorley headers arriving Monday. We may have to modify the flange for clearance.

I don't think there is a honeycomb projector for the low beam. The projector in the pictures above is simply for the high beam

Header Question My newly built 2UZ is shipping tomorrow from XAT Racing and I would love to run headers. Anyone in this group with a 2UZ swap running headers? I know there are a few companies who make headers for the 2UZ but will they work in the 80 engine bay?
