Yes, I think the front can handle it. Of course it will need heavier springs, but the foundation is stout enough.
Where does the money go? Look underneath. The 200 has drivetrain and suspension components that are equal to or bigger than 1 ton trucks. The LCAs dwarf every other manufacturers as do the CVs, tie rods, assembly hardware etc.
I am specifically talking about how there is no damage mechanism associated with the noise. I have been a proponent of 5W30 since my 2020 had 3 miles on it.
Weight reduction generally equates to strength reduction. Yes there are some unique materials/composites out there; however, the push for efficiency has had an impact on durability.
