Sorry I have been MIA for a while...

We are living in the in-laws basement for the time being but we did secure a new house for our family. It is a nice place outside the main areas of northern KY on 17 acres of woods with multiple creeks and hills (read: great for a small amount of trails and shake-down obstacles for my rigs and those of friends:popcorn:) We close on the house Oct. 21st and need to do some painting etc. to update the pink/green decor so offensive to my wife :grinpimp:
It has a large 3 bay attached garage and has space to build a shop in the future:idea:

Cleo is now 6 weeks old and is the perfect baby. Eva is thriving, playing with friends and cousins and family, loving the close proximity to everyone.

Em started her job and likes it. We'll like a paycheck sometime here soon :bounce: been broke for some time now... the house will demand some funds but so will my neglected rigs :hillbilly:

I fixed some things on the HJ, installed a stereo (been a year without tunes) via a 24V to 12V converter. It is great!

The mini truck is stored at a buddy's, still on the trailer but I am buying parts for it again. It needs a distributer, exhaust, and a few odds and ends... then will be ready for Tellico in November (that is my goal!)

I miss PA :hmm: but like KY as well :) I've been MTB'in as much as I can and plan to hook up with some bluegrass cruiser folks here soon for some trail rides.

So here is an open invitation for anyone wanting to stay with us, wheel, wrench, whatever... come on down and enjoy some southern hospitality (and 75,000 acres of Daniel Boone National Forest 2hours aways :bounce:)

Hope you are all well!

75,000 acres is alot. i can't believe you guys have only been gone 6 weeks, feels like forever. we miss you guys.....and is tellico the plan now for november?? i guess alex is goin there over thanksgiving, is that when you're goin?

Good to hear things are going well for you and the family, Jeffrey. Sounds like we may need to make a club run down to KY on of these days.

Wow, a whole nother world!

Glad things are moving forward.

Just don't forget us Yankees.

Yeah, it is really hard not being in PA (oh yeah, living in my mother inlaw's 'finished lower level':frown:) that really sucks..
It does feel like i've been here forever :frown:

I am going to get a distributed for the mini today. I should
Have it ready soon since I'll have a garage on the 21st.
Dom, I'd go wherever you want, just let me know.

I am coming go PA at least once a year if not more so....see y'all soon

That would be fun, a big camp out/invasion of the Dozier house hold. Glad it is coming together for your Jeff.

Good to hear from you, Jeff! I know what you're going through. We lived in the basement of my inlaws for a year....that was tolerable, kinda, and we didn't even have kids! It was definitely good to have our own place again after that.

Great news, sounds like a good homestead. So when is the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of your shop? ;p

Glad to hear you and the family are doing well.

I wish you and your family well Jeff. May I ask how much a house with 17 acres and a 3 car garage is running in that area of the US?? Just the average price and is that a common set up?

bob

hey Thanks! No, our house/land is not too common but we got lucky! And a great deal... 7000 sq. Ft. Geothermal heat, 5 bedroom 5 bath, 17 acres of woods, heated unground pool was 435k$

20 minutes to Cincinnati...

Post up some pics when you get a chance.

Sounds like you have planty of room for visitors!

Dude, that's, like, twice the size of our house. And three times the land. Wanna swap? Was that a foreclosure you swooped in on?

No foreclosure... just a custom home firesaled due to the matriarch dying and the patriarch (at age 70) running off with his secretary : )

Our house is open to anyone who wants to visit... standing invitation to cruiserheads : )

Nice that you found a house that appeals to your green side.:D

LOL, that is true.. now I just need to cut a couple trails. There is a large bowl, deep ravine (sp?), rock creek, and a large steep hill climb..... should be just entertaining enough :grinpimp:

I am going to make the truck trails minimal and add single MTB trails with built obstacles.... should be a great training ground
