Sorry I have been MIA for a while...
We are living in the in-laws basement for the time being but we did secure a new house for our family. It is a nice place outside the main areas of northern KY on 17 acres of woods with multiple creeks and hills (read: great for a small amount of trails and shake-down obstacles for my rigs and those of friends
) We close on the house Oct. 21st and need to do some painting etc. to update the pink/green decor so offensive to my wife
It has a large 3 bay attached garage and has space to build a shop in the future
Cleo is now 6 weeks old and is the perfect baby. Eva is thriving, playing with friends and cousins and family, loving the close proximity to everyone.
Em started her job and likes it. We'll like a paycheck sometime here soon
been broke for some time now... the house will demand some funds but so will my neglected rigs
I fixed some things on the HJ, installed a stereo (been a year without tunes) via a 24V to 12V converter. It is great!
The mini truck is stored at a buddy's, still on the trailer but I am buying parts for it again. It needs a distributer, exhaust, and a few odds and ends... then will be ready for Tellico in November (that is my goal!
)
I miss PA
but like KY as well
I've been MTB'in as much as I can and plan to hook up with some bluegrass cruiser folks here soon for some trail rides.
So here is an open invitation for anyone wanting to stay with us, wheel, wrench, whatever... come on down and enjoy some southern hospitality (and 75,000 acres of Daniel Boone National Forest 2hours aways
)
Hope you are all well!
