So I ordered a set of toyota shocks for my 2000 LC.

I got the box today and one of the front shocks is compressed and the other is extended how screwed am I on installing the un compressed one and on other shocks i purchased in the past there was a band holding them compressed on the shock that is still compressed there does not appear to be anything holding it.

The OEM shocks come compressed. If you rotate the top of the shock it will release and expand. They aren’t all that hard to compress on install I wouldn’t worry about it. Run the bottom bolt thru the eyelet, then compress the shock, and guide the top stud into the hole as it expands.
