Has been sitting for most of the last ten years. Engine will run but has a knocking noise. Plow works, it now has 4 good tires and rims on it.
No cancer, but does have a dent on the driver rear ( pictured ) and needs a new top as well as hard top side and driver side amby door.
Everything is there, all original, all the smog stuff, ..... And since it's a 75 it is smog excempt.

I have a Sept 76 FJ40 2f, h55 5sp trans, TEQ pto winch, 5 34.5 tsl's, 129,xxx miles. Reason for selling, I am transferring to Alaska, I will not be able to bring it. It originated in Utah, spent most of its life there, made its way to Georgia around 2005-2006 then in 2009 ish to Maryland and 2011 to Maine. It was not driven in the winter, here. While in UT the h55 was put in, I do NOT know by who, it was NOT the PO, it was done in a shop if I remember correctly some where around Salt Lake City. It runs, starts drives great. It was primer when I picked it up so I just rattle canned it to start, the rear door sill was cut out when got, CCOT has them. Not much rust to start most was on front fenders by markers and by rear seat bolt holes. Floor in front part of tub was rhino lined and I POR 15 rear floor of tub.

I absolutely love my FJ40, but being a student has it's disadvantages as far as working goes and this guy loves gas. So with a heavy heart I'm deciding to let it go in order to fund a more economic daily driver.

Looking to sell my fj soft top. It has the factory tail gate and soft top bows. I have an aftermarket soft top that I bought from Ehsan Kiani in Pakistan. It has not been installed yet. The truck is mostly stock. All original F1 enfgine (has a mallory dual point right now), 3 spd on the tree. Motor was rebuilt years ago but has not been driven much. It does run and drive. Brakes are new. I have the original owners manual and some of the original tools. It also has the optional factory door straps to use when the doors are off (these are the straps that look like a fair ride). Odometer stopped at 52K so miles are unknow. Has only been driven less than 500 miles since about 2000. Has rust in the back of the bed near the tail gate. Other...

Issues: oil, gas, odometer, and tack gauges does not work.
Blinkers do not work.
Great tread on tires but showing side wall cracks.
Torn rips in seats front and back.
Rusted back sill ( a metal 1"x 3' strip that can be replaced).
Surface rust on some parts of the Cruiser.
Pros: Clean Title and current registration.
Runs great, power train is strong!

Hard top
Bikini top
Hard doors ( un-matched paint and need new handles).
Soft doors
Rear barn doors (glass needs replacement in on of them).
Has the new model 2F engine with a Holly carb. and aftermarket header.
