1968 FJ40 4 Sale This is a unique FJ40 due to it is RHD, 3 on the tree and even the T-case shifter is mounted on the dash. I just do not have the time to get to it. Odometer reads 38K not sure if it is 100 or 200K It runs and I have driven it around the property, needs work to be road worthy. The tub and frame are in bad shape, the cowl and front clip can be saved. For Sale 1978 BJ40 Aussie Spec Small Project RHD 12V

I am selling my 1978 BJ40 with the 'B' motor. I do not have the time to fix what needs to be done to get her back on the road again. I was in the process of rebuilding the transfer case when I found out the output shaft on my transmission was worn. From there I purchased a used transmission and transfer case with an approximate 70k miles on the unit. My stock transmission is a H41 with the unit purchased came out of a 1978 FJ40 lending it to be a H42. I had planned on switching out the stock unit with the one purchased but I soon found out that the input shaft did not mate to my diesel. All that needs to be done is a rebuild kit from SOR for about $320, use the good output shaft from the unit purchased and put everything back...

Offered for sale is a very original 1978 FJ40. Vehicle has 26,000 original miles. With the exception of some minor rust where the tub meets the roof, there is no decay to the body. Paint is original. Recent work includes new Optima Red Top battery, new OEM parking brake, new OEM hoses, brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, new tires to include the spare on new OEM later style wagon wheels. Have the original split rims if somebody wants to convert it back. All fluids have been replaced. New air, oil and fuel filters. Brakes have been checked and still plenty of life left in the pads. '64 FJ-40

This has been sitting around for me for too long now. I have a '64 (though registration says '65, it takes '64 parts, VIN supports '64) that hasn't moved in years. It has a chevy 350 engine, Toyota 3sp tranny and toyota gear box, 33" tires, in relatively good shape (rust along the rear cross member where it's common to rust) and along a wheel well. It hasn't been turned over in quite a while, but was in fine running shape when I parked it. Now, nature has gotten into it (mice live in it) and it needs cleaned out. Canvas top that needs attention (plastic windows not terribly clear), no hard top. I do have a second fuel tank that goes with it, but it needs to be reinstalled.
