Sorry.. Correction .. Harrison west fsr.

Ps... Cash upfront for any help... As
It would be a Lon drive from the valley. Can only gain access via pemberton.

I'm not good for any immediate help here...

But have you lowered the tire air pressure, dug out the snow behind the tires, and tried reversing out of your situation?

Unfortunately have done that... But the snow just sticks. We got it out once ... Just to get it stuck again. It's on a downslope in the roadway... And just can't get enough traction.

Wanted to thank all that replyd, txtd, or called. I found a towing co in town that says they should be able to help. We'll see.. I have more faith in my costal cruiser family.. But the time to get out here.. Into the bush.. And back to the valley is a lot to ask of anyone. I will post again soon if something changes.. Or if my yota is back in action. Cheers. B.

Sorry about your luck, not that it helps you, but I would have given you a hand if I still lived down there, or if you were a little closer than the 14hour drive ;) Good luck getting out.

Let us know if they cant help, maybe a few of us can get up there. Looong way to go though.

Sorry about your luck,I'll pm number to you if you can't get out give me a shout and I'll come up right away should be a bit better with night freezing. I'm winch front and back but how much line is needed to anchor to trees for backing out . Things get harry there is a guy in mount curry how is a good local source . Plus the two live in hydro guys right in port Douglas right beside (inside the reserve there are probly already 4chained and game for 4x4 chalange (let them know your a cruiser guy definitely will help .are you on the downside of the old slide what km down sign you at. George and I'd be coming from north Vancouver sso sooner the better what tow company you call too.

If you had a chainsaw you could get some wood under those tires. First though, I'd dig out a turn around area behind you. I bet you started sinking in afternoon snow. If it freezes or gets near freezing tonight, what you drove in on will be hard and good traction as long as you get out before the temps get warm enough to start making slush again.

If you are not able to get out tonight let us know. I work till 5pm tomorrow but can head up right after if needed. Would be good if we could get a few trucks mobilized to improve our chances.

Do you have any food or warm dry clothing? If not I may try and get the day off to at least get you some some food and warm drink/ warm blankets and a ride with me out till a recovery can be organized.

All the best.

I'm in aswell tomorow if need be, I shoulda bombed up there today. I was talking to him VIA text at 3pm I'm pretty sure he was back in pemberton trying to make arrangements or I woulda went up no question this afternoon.

Ya I would have thought he might check his messages, I would have left earlier . Doesn't sound like he is in to bad that off road towing in pemberton she said they would be able to get him out,80 km down is where his is sopposidly .they left pemberton at 430 and figures a typical round trip from where he is stuck would be back by 1 o'clock with a tow .ouch thats big bill. The tow company said they'd call me if they couldn't reach him, and I called and texted Brian a bunch of times to call me ya or nay on what's up,but haven't heard back.maybe his phone got wet . I'm sure that everything will work out with a tow company involved ,now though.

Okay... So no go on the tow out! Tow truck got too jamd up about a km from where ingot stuck. On top of that we just about got stuck three times on the way back. It started raining on us when we got up there then heavy wet snow. 10 hours it took us to go in and out... Was not another fun day to say the least. At least I do have a Change of cloths with me...and just checked into a hotel for the night now.
So... Just a little info about the severity of the situation. From pemberton ... It is 112 km to where im stuck. This is at least a two and a half hour drive in. It's about 20km from Tipella ... Where the fsr comes inland... And we are just about at the bridge. Now had we researched before going ... We would have found out that this was a fools errand... As no one has been through there yet. I will need to take a quick sleep as I've been up for more than 48 hours now. I will write more soon and make contact with those that might be able to help.

OK I'm gearing up I'm by myself but its a start .if ii can reach him I ussualy never get stuck.so I should be able to get out . I have stopped by a few times to visit with the hydro guys and I'm sure that the other folks up their would recognise my truck so should be able to at least have contact with people in Vancouver..I will keep you up to date by 3 ish this afternoon.;I just busted my chainsaw yesterday and my leg is not the best yet but .anybody in squeamish whistler want to come for a ride???

I can head up this afternoon, ill see if i can get off work a bit early, maybe 3ish and head up. Would not get there till 9ish though, at least it would be another winched truck. George take it easy on the foot, the guy is safe now in Pemberton so no need for risk. Can we get an actual FSR and mile marker for the truck. I have not been in the north way before.

X2 on don't go alone George. Looks like snowmageddon....
