So in addition to carrying a shovel, i can take from this thread that bilge pumps and exterior air bags are now on our trail kit list. :D

You don't have to worry since there is no actual evidence of you ever wheeling, and those items are not required when you are just sitting at the computer.

Yeah, I have surpassed you now! Muahahahaha

(You as in John)

You got a few years, kms, pinstripes and dents to go before you even get close. Not sure that driving at the end of Triangle Road on an old dump with some sand and a few puddles counts as wheeling. :p

Ha! Now john will repost that snow highway video from 5 yrs ago to back up his 4X4 creds...

The truth is that he DID go off road a few years back but had to turn back at the end of his driveway because he lost access to his neighbours unlocked WiFi...

Actually, when I am well enough and the truck is not out of commission I do go out - just not with you. All your hind grinder talk's got me scared. :grinpimp:

i have always enjoyed john's plug ins for his snow tires.
Love them studded snow tires especially when I do regular winter driving beyond where the brine trucks wander and roads only see a plow once or twice a day. If I have got 600-800 kms to go in a day, I can't drive with AT tires at 30-60 kms/hr. :p And yes, I get pissed off to see the inevitable bumper car parade every-time it snows in the Lower Mainland because I know we collectively pay for people who insist on driving when they are too cheap to buy proper tires and/or learn to drive on snow and ice. Actually, the f'kin brine they spray for these people pisses me off more.

Anyways, back on topic, if you are winter driving anywhere, carry a good shovel, one or two sand bags and a set of chains. Amazing the crap you can get out of with those few things.
