I'm cutting an FJ60 1984 body in pieces to fix some of my rust spots (Utah vehicle) and replace my frame. If anyone is interested in the roof let me know, seems like a two man job so all you need is to show up in Gilbert, with some cutting tools maybe. Also floor pans are good and both rear side windows. Left and right quarter panels are mine.
ROOF IS GONE (June 13 update)

The previous owner rolled over and bought a new roof, so it's new but it was installed without any paint and the surface is weathered. This vehicle is from Albuquerque, NM.

Also have the complete steering wheel and miscellaneous controls and switches from the dashboard and A/C stuff, the vehicle didn't have a windshield, so all this parts have been weathered, these are free because I ignore if they work.

ADDED 4/21: air cleaner assembly

For sale is the hood, also new but weathered. $100 bucks?

You still got the roof? I looked at a great running 60 a week or so ago that had a rusted roof where the roof rack had been attached before the gutters rusted away. I'll have to drive around and see if I can remember where it was.

steering box?

Instead of dealing with the rust I decided to turn the FJ60 into a flatbed, kind of like the one in the attached picture. If anyone needs clean quarter panels for free let me know, but you have to get the whole cab because I need the garage space.

Also, it looks to me that the rear axle was moved a few inches. Am I right?

Looks that way to me. Here is a pic of my wifes 62 for comparison.

And I tought about cutting the frame to increase my departure angle, maybe moving the rear axle is the way to go.

I'm wondering if stretching/bobbing the frame is what the other guy did. Notice on the flatbed the frame curvature matches the wheel location. I'm not near my wife's right now to go look at her frame. I almost wonder if that is a mini truck frame with the Cruiser cab?

I like that rig! I thought about a 4-door version with my rolled 80, but the main damage was in front, so it wouldn't have saved any work. I just put it back to stock.
A 60 or 80 4-door set up with a short open bed would be interesting. A bit like that "Avalanche" thing that GM builds. With its ready-made tailgate, the 80 would be perfect for such a conversion.

Howdy! This has been done several times on 55's that had bad roof problems on the rear. They just cut off the roof at the C pillar and remove the D pillar, refinish the bottom of the side window channels. Where do you think those guys at Chevy came up with the idea?? John

I want the hood if you still have it. I will be in Scottsdale June 15, 16 and 17. PM me pls.
