This flatbed was built to endure serious abuse and look good doing it. It is very well made out of quality materials. An aluminum diamond plate panel punched for six round grommet lights (taillights) is included. The crossbar to support it can be welded back on when you pick up, if desired. I cut it to clear my frame mounted receiver when the flatbed was on my 85 mini. Shipping this thing would be tough (interior dimensions the same as stock) so plan on a road trip. I'm in Woodbury, New Jersey, 08096. You can reach me at gitm7681@verizon.net or on my cell 215.850.6331. Asking $150 OBO.

Thanks for looking!

OK, howabout I burn on a set of spring mounts, install an early FJ 40 axle under it (or whatever, maybe a Ford 9), and add a tow hitch? Now you have a great trailer!

What about if I deliver it to CMCC '08 at Rausch? :D

can you get me dimensions? i may be interested

Interior dimensions: 59" wide x 72" long x 12" deep from the deck (diamond plate) to the top edge of the side rails

Exterior dimensions: 62.5" wide x 74" long (tailgate closed) x 32.5" high at the "rollbar" up by the cab

whats the bed length? I might have a use for it on a 2WD. Coming up the coast anytime soon ti RI?

Hi Mike,
I'm planning on Fall Gathering this year but really can't haul the thing up to RI. I need a buyer to pick up, get it out of my way so I can move on to other things. If not, then I'll cut it up at my leisure and use it for parts, welding table, scrap metal, whatever! :D

Dimensions added in another post.

What's wrong with the rig as a whole? Motor shot? tranny? How long is the bed? I need a beat around shop truck and dirt bike hauler....

Flatbed rig got stripped to build a SWB '88 that needed a motor/trans/case. I was going to put the flatbed out of its misery but have since decided to sell the SWB rig and build a beater (SAS, lockers, etc) out of the flatbed rig since I have most of the parts.. I have another stock bed for it, so the flatbed is in my way. The SWB will appear on Mud as soon as I can finish it. It's almost cherry, too nice for me!

If you're on the East Coast, hit up Shmukster here on Mud. He almost always has a variety of rigs or will direct you to his buddy Jason, who has a bunch of potential builders. Both are good guys, I've dealt with them a lot.
