NIce ... a few Q's:

Are they actually Arctic Trucks product, or Formverks etc?

Are they used?

Did you get the end caps that extend the curves nicely down to the front bumpers?

How much lift you running? Body lift as well?

Move the rear axle aft 15cm?

Formverk builds all fenders for Arcitc Trucks, so either way...

Yes they are used for 9 months on my friends 80 but he was moving up to 44" and needed bigger fenders so he was kind and sold these ones to me.

These fenders are for the stock rear axle position, no move..

I will lift it 4" and I will get the bumper corners a little later on, they are being built as we speek ( write ) my friend did not have them on his ride..

You ever see Iceman's 80? Pretty sweet lookin. Those almost look green, with the silver trim which he has on his back in Iceland.

So what size tires you thinking of running and what are your objectives as far as 4x4'ing?

gonna see

I am not sure yet wich tires I will put on it, 36-37 or 38, wich ever I have the most feel for.

A for 4x4in, just the basic. Some trails and what else is availeble here in colorado.:)

Here's a pic of the HDJ80? I was talking about above:

Nice over fenders lemme guess those around $800-$900 for all four? Also FYI the front end caps not easy to get.So what's next? Side Muffler? :flipoff2:

I want some... finally got around to reading your other thread I think the big flares are great for wheeling in the US, and some of you pics show it. J's and L's will get you 35's with stock fenders, and 38's with those, I don't see where the issue with articulation is - same suspension, same bumpstops, same droop, same articulation plus whatever extra flex you can get out of the tires... Seriously though, what does it take to get some flares into the states?

price

fenders like mine cost new in iceland, without rear axle moving back at all, about 700-900 and then plus shipping. don't know the shipping (my dad shipped mine and did not charge me) can ask though. will tell you when I know....

they are pretty exspensive, but maybe I could get some deal from one of the manufacturers if a couple of you guys want them ? but am not sure, not promising anything !?

Damn!

Tv special years back ...

Hi guys ...I am new to this site and to toyota ...I'm one that can get carried away with building custom trucks ... I just picked up a new to me LX450 ... very clean and very stock ...I'm fighting the eurge to start customizing ...LOL
Like I said this is my first Toyota ...a few years back there was a show in discovery channel these guys built to landcruisers to go in the artic ... they did custom rears suspenshion , diesel engine ... looked like 44" tires and they took these machines to no mans land ...so awsome ... thats where I feel in love with the land cruisers.
They are one of the finest machines ever designed ...

44" fender flares cost about $945.00 shipped about a year ago. Formverk will ship directly to your door. Can you get it cheaper?

The management at Formverks actually sent me an interesting email reply once .. they said 2 of them would hop on a plane with all the parts needed for an Arctic-esk 80, and all they needed from me was a garage for a week and they'd build my 80 .. good for them as per advertising they felt, and good for me, as I'd have an Arctic cruiser .. which I wanted at the time. He prefaced the email with "How's this for an out of the box solution?!......"
