I UPGRADED from a 95 taco that i built from stock and knew everything about it. Since the buyback, i looked for a replacement rig to replace it with before parting with it. After looking at several runners and pickups, I ended up with a 93 cruiser. Pretty sure its got an ome lift and its supposed to be welded front and rear, though i suspect it may possibly have a lockrite in the rear since i recently heard racheting sounds coming from the rear.
I havnt had time to tear into it and assess what drivetrain mods it does have yet and was hoping someone here will know the rig. It came from NC, the guy i got it from in ky traded for it and he didnt know all the details of it.
I would like to know what mods it has that i may not know about, and mods that anyone else would recommend for it.
Its mostly a wheeling rig, but has to be streetable. Has almost 200k and lacks power and pep at times offroad.
My wishlist includes: E-lockers front and rear, regear with maybe 4.88's if thats whats recomended (35 x 12.50's)
other than that, i really dont know what else would make me happier with this rig. Wheels great, cage wasnt done the best, but it is what it is i guess. lol may re-work it sometime.
also, love the site! been a big help to me with getting to know my rig so far.
