If I hadn't just bought my Mercedes G350 I would buy that, looks good. I wonder how they got it into the states?

well, someone pulled it off! but how?! the fact that it'll be hard to put on the road/plated (till 2015!) is gonna bring the price down, no? or can it be a dedicated trail rig, w/ no plates/insurance, and trailered to the bush, can that work? was it registered in FLA in a "deceiving" way...?

I wondered when that rig was going to pop up again.

I almost bought it the last time it was for sale in Colorado by a guy from Texas. Flew all the way to Colorado to find a not as advertised vehicle. I had to walk away from it since the engine wasnt right.

When I looked at it it had a knock in the motor...I hope it has been fixed since I saw it.

I highly advice getting a good look at the rig before anyone here buys it.

I just bought a Mercedes G350 without any importation paperwork. It was however titled in the US. I called about title and registration here in Texas before buying it and they told me so long as it has a US title they didn't care about the importation. I even told them it was probably not legally imported and they didn't care.
The Land Cruiser says it has a Florida title so many states are like Texas and probably don't care, just make sure you find out beforehand!
As for the engine, who knows but if you can buy it right it would be worth fixing.
