This is the 60 my co-worker bought today. It's in really good shape other than the typical rust. Had the same owner since 84, 88k documented miles. We live in a small mountain town so it has low mileage. It has had some bodywork done to the rear years ago when someone backed into something.

It runs and drives well other than some cracked heater hoses, and some other leaks. The transmission makes a raspy noise when you take your foot off of the gas. When you are cruising and push the clutch in the noise goes away.

Here are some pics.

Congrats to the coworker! Now help 'em pull off the running boards, fix the rust & get some new springs under it.

I don't even wanna hear how cheap it was.... 88k? Damn, it'll run forever.

Here's a before and after of mine.
Bought it stock with 94k 3yrs ago.

I'm going to help him do a mild build-up, nothing fancy, I told him that the first thing we do is take those f-ing running boards off. HAHA!

I knew of the one he bought but didn't have the room for it. Never even thought to ask if it was for sale. He got a good deal even if the tranny is fubar'd.

alkarich,

That longbed in the background is my neighbors truck, it's a 1980 and fully built, weber, header, lockers, gears, custom drivelines, everything is done right! Needs some body love. It might be for sale for the right price.

They might be 40 caps or the originals.

Not even broke in yet.

and that rust looks minor, you could probably fix that without welding in new metal.

Edit - oops nope. Just saw the drivers side again the rear fender looks rusted through....
