I'm thinking of replacing the stock chrome rims this spring with some steelies and caps.

Whaddya think? Should look pretty good right?

Maybe I'll photoshop some on when I get a moment.

someone posted some pics of a jacked up white 60 with caps, looked cool. i wonder if the old 40 rims/caps would work.

I love the old school look for our wagons......i think i'm going to do it when im finished with my SOA.
 
IMO, hubcap=useless junk that necessitates needless labor. Although I suppose they give you something to put your lugnuts in.
 
Steel wheels do look badass. I also agree about the hubcaps, just something else to break or lose.
In th first pic of the gray 60 did they cut the rear body pannel at the bottom to extend the bumper? Is this look common? i feel like ive seen it before.
