H55F input shaft

Is the input shaft on an H55F different for diesel vs. gasser?

Length?
Splines?

From my understanding it is only different with the B diesels.
The F and H engines have the same input shaft.

The B shaft is longer than the F/H shaft, plus the spline counts differ. Also the neck of the front bearing retainer is longer on the B type H55F's. One more tidbit, the HZ input shaft is very similar to the F/H shafts but a little longer. I just went through an input shaft replacement on a H55F (from the B shaft to the F/H shaft), and changing out the input shaft is a royal pain. A shaft change essentially equals a tranny rebuild.

These are the front shafts for the H55 that suit the 2h and 1Hz. fine spline for the 1HZ, coarse for the 2H.
