This is a tech question....installing a radio from the 70's and wanting to adapt it for an aux plug......

where did Prius come from???

Maybe I was not clear...I want to install an authentic 78ish toyota radio......so it looks like it came OEM int he fj40 and wire up an aux plug for my ipod.

I just ordered a USA-230 from a guy at vintagevibes.net. Very disorganized website but he can custom fit you one of their radios. Looks pretty damn close to stock. The USA-230 which has an aux cord for Ipods and fits nicely. And no mine doesn't say Jeep :flipoff2: You can also get it with black knobs too

Dual XC4100

I bought this one and love it. As long as your not looking for ultra bad ass $1000.00 sounds, this little rig kicks ass.

It's cheap (under 30) it fits in the stock location without cutting, and it has the all important ipod jack! And it sounds great. Even better if you run an amp with decent speakers. I dont even use the radio feature, exclusively ipod...
