A "friend" borrowed my 99 for some moving and absolutely cooked the brakes. Soft peddle, vibrating brakes, the works.

Rather than make an issue of it the truck needs new front rotors anyway. I'm going to be towing my boat this summer and want to be sure I do the right thing now.

Can anyone provide feedback on SLEE's rotors and ceramic pads? OR, do I just go OEM like they've been for the last 125,000 miles.

Thanks,
Anthony

Sway Bar links

I'll be doing my brakes this month and want to change out the sway bar hardware. The pic below shows the condition of the links after 125,000 miles. I think they're ready for replacement. Does anyone have the part numbers font and rear?

ALSO, did you replace the two large bushings? Seems like you may need to remove the torsion bars to access those bushings which I am not ready to do. Is there a DIY thread for this?

I installed the rotors and ceramic pads from SLEE a couple of months ago. I am very pleased with the results! :)

The PowerStop rotors Slee sells are fine, DBA are fine too if you want to pay for the drill/slot action. I have used the Brembo OEM replacement rotors, no problems and didn't have to spend $130 a rotor:meh:

Stoptech.... fellow mudders have raved about this brand.

You might try sending a pm to spressomon.

Just rec'd mine from Slee last week and had installed (front only). Plan on testing them on a multi day road trip in the North Carolina mountains this week. Will report back as to how they performed. I'm optimistic I'll be as pleased as other Mud'rs who have used them.

After roughly 600 miles on the interstate, Boone NC , and BLue Ridge parkway as well as crawling along back roads I can say I'm very happy with my Power Stop order from Slee. I only wish I'd done the rear brakes

Powers top front Rotors and ceramics pads on order.
I just did he rear rotors oem. Why do you WISH you did them? With all the weight transfer I imagine the new rotors will give a good solid feel up front.

My rear rotors are slightly warped and the vibration is annoying. They'll have to wait - the DT headers are next on the $$$ to do list
