My cover for the two cupholders in the center console has lost it's screws... I need to re-install the cover. Anyone know an easy way to access the metal bracket that the cover mounts too? Looks like you have to take the whole center console apart? Where do I begin?...

It's fairly easy to do so. It is attached by four clips clips. If you want to remove the whole cover; which you need to do I believe to access the components you wish to access. You unscrew the shifters, open the holder and pull straight up carefully. It is in the FAQ section also, maybe a little more detailed.
I thought you could just pull the cup holder straight out of the console.

Anyone happen to know the screw size for the upholder lid? ... im hoping to find it at the hardware store tonight... too impatient to wait to go to the dealer tomorrow.
Pull in the cup holders straight up and a little inward. The clips will pop out. Reach underneath with your hands and disconnect the seta heater switched and PWR/2ND start buttons ( the pop out upwards with a little push). Remove the transfer case shift knob ( it screws off) and lift off slowly. The shifter bezel (thin black bezel directly outside of the shifter gate) will (or should) come up with the center console. Once you get that off I'd clean everything out while in there and have it off. Unscrew the cup holders and wash them out while your in there...

On my way now... will post a replacement size when im done.
I think I used the screws that you find all over just about any PC. The ones that hold PCI cards and hard drives. Pull one out of your PC and see if it fits.

So no luck finding screws for the cup holder lid at the local hardware store... I just ordered them from the dealer. If there is a listed size / pitch on the package I will post it if anyone else has any luck finding them somewhere other than Toyota.
I found some in the coffee can and glued them in too.
