Is this truck in Nashville?

Also do you still have the factory wheels.

Has the water pump been changed? Does it still have original head gasket?

What records do you have on the truck?

How long have you owned the truck?

How is the leather?

Looks like a nice Rig, more interior pics when you have time please. I think I came across this rig a month ago, I was trying to find it recently but you must have pulled the add. It’s a ruf time to sell used SUV's or any auotomobile for that matter. I had to pull one of my cars off the market.

I'll start the bidding at 9200.00

Very nice looking truck.

i see ya posted on mud (i emailed you from CL the other day)

Good luck with the sale...bump

Nick

LC Info

I've had it about 6 mo. bought it hoping a Sequoia would sell...didnt happen. I keep it maintained thru a certified Totyota shop. They reworked the AC, replaced the front brake rotors, replaced inner axle seals, front hub gaskets, & seals. However, I do not have any previous maintenance records, I had this shop (ProToy in Knoxville, TN) check it out thoroughly.

Leather is in excellent shape except for the front passenger's seat, which has a seam that has pulled apart (3" long).

It has the original head gasket and I do not know about the water pump.

Nick...thanks for the tip.

I dont have the factory wheels, I gave them to a friend who helped me build this.

I'm the friend who helped build this rig and I'll go ahead and give my honest testiment on it:

-The headgasket and water pump are original...we think. The clips are intact so that's an assumption. It runs cool and has good power so the water pump and headgasket haven't been addressed yet.
-The rear main leaks.
-It just started throwing a 402 code last week.
-The front axle was completely rebuilt to the tune of $1300 about 3000 miles ago
-The AC had some recent work...not sure what was done exactly.
-The lockers lock and unlock freely.
-The leather is the best I've seen. No cracks or rubs at all...really. The seam is seperated on the passenger seat along the plastic strip but that's the only flaw that I've seen in the leather.
-The paint is very good. It's shiney and there are no cracks anywhere in the clearcoat. No dings and only one small scratch that I've noticed.
-The power steering is good. The reservoir, steering box, and pump were dry when we built it.
-It has surface rust underneath typical of a northern truck but the body has no rust...not even a pinhole under the back window.
-All aftermarket parts were purchased new and have under 4000 miles on them.
-The rig has never been offroad (which I'm a little bitter about honestly) and has been a DD for several months.
-He has owned it for around 8 months and has decided a rock ready gas guzzler isnt the best DD after all.
-It has every (USA) factory option. Usually they don't when people say that but this one does....including heated seats.

I've probably driven 20 FZJ80's and this one is one of the nicest I've seen. I want to buy it...I'm trying to buy it but the timing is horrible (got a baby on the way) so I'd at least like a mud member to buy it so I've got a second chance at it when it comes time to find another new home. If you have questions feel free to ask me...I'm probably better about responding then my friend who owns this.

Is it still for sale?

He said he's got a guy flying in from TX to pick it up on Friday but I don't think he has cash in hand yet. I'd say it's tentatively sold (er uh...given away) assuming the deal goes down on Friday.

Curious on the selling price, if he'll share. I almost tried to stretch my budget on this one before I found one more suited to my needs in Colorado.

I was bidding on it on fleabay but it didn't get above 10k

I bid it to the reserve on ebay, but it was pulled 10 minutes later. I hope I can still get my hands on this rig. I had the turtle wax in my hand, and the cruiser hooked to the RV. Got a little ahead of myself....

Are you kidding me?

I'd say both buyer and seller came out nicely on that one.
