All seals replaced for a/c, charged and ICE cold, Interior in good shape, fully desmogged and runs EXCELLENT! Full tune up and valve adjust just compleeted along with oil change, and all fluids in tranny, t-case and diffs. New brake pads and rotors turned. Only 600 miles since work was completed. This truck is ready to drive to NY and back.

With new t-case seal ready to go anywhere.

will add more photos to photobucket tomorrow:cheers:

EDIT- Okay to many requests for pics, so I just made some slideshows. For spefic pics PM me
Keep in mind Arizona is a very dirty dusty place. A lot of dirt under these rigs, nothg a good pressure wash wont fix. And ther is very light surface rust where the rocker was repaired, i'll fix that this weekend.

Nice!

I like the beige one.
Can you tell me a bit of vehicle history on it, as well as anything else that you are aware of that'll need to be addressed in the near/distant future.

Also, has it been repainted before or is it its original paint?

If it's possible I'd like to see some additional pics of the vehicle, both inside and out, as well as its undercarriage.

THANKS!!

Mot :)

he77 no, just found a nice bj73 i would like to buy (and why is this in italics) I also want to convert one to a chev350....i'll buy the bj73 either way, just want to make it easier on me (the wife) and once I get it and do my v8 swap, i;ll buy another 60 for my stocker or diesel conversion....No not giving up, just strategically building up my collection.........next move, buy some land, build a garage, place a mobilhome, rent out my home, then make more money to feed my cruiser addiction haha...i still want your blue 60:flipoff2: i figured i could turn that into my 60 pickup. I would do it right though and weld up the rear doors and shave the rear door handles. Make it look like a factory fj60 pickup:beer:

Sweet! I read a little of me in most of your threads. I'm glad you're sticking around. The '82 is very tempting, but the I'll probably end up selling the 40, parting out the 60 locally (I didn't buy it to make money on it, I bought it to learn about the 60 series), and just make a few mild mods to the '99. It seems the '99 meets all my needs right now. Down the road a bit, I'd like to pick up a 45 (troopy or truck) or a late 60 series. Talk at you later.

Im interested in the beige one (would love the red one but Im in Cali and Id have to put all the smog equip back on :wrench::bang:). But it looks like there is some body damage on the DS rear, and possibly on the PS rocker. Can you post some more detailed pics of these areas, as well as the interior and undercarriage?

Thanks!

Dont let smog scare you away, as I passed an emissions test after the desmog. Put out practically zero's, did better than my injected integra. I just bolted all the equipment on, it was just not functional. So yes it will pass the visual test and the sniffer test. PM me with you email, and i'll send you more pics of the beigh one.

The beigh one has minor rear quarter damage on the drivers side (nothing a body man can't eaisly/cheaply bang out) and the rocker was replaced 3-4 years ago where it was dented. I still need to paint over it. Still has no rust on it though, gotta love Arizona. And the paint is original Thanks

Very tempting Rock, Nice TACO, and it's exactly how I would do mine, if I had one. My only issue is it's a PreRunner, and 4wd is not something I am willing to part with. I have too much desert to explore. Do that SAS and i'll throw in the wife...haha :flipoff2:

Thanks for the pics.

Did the tan one have the original interior?
I'm not sure if I've seen a beige 60 with brown dash, etc... with the blue seats/door panel trim pieces.

Just curious!

No, The interior was all swapped over. The beige one sat in Las Vegas it's whole life, and the interior was all sun bleached. The only thing that was not swapped was the lower dash, and the carpet. The carpet went into my red one. Did you get a chance to look at those pics i posted on photobucket?

Is it still for sale?

Hi,

I am very interested in the beige FJ60. Is it still available? Did you mount the parts you stated that you were going to put on? Call me at 608-772-7269. I am a serious buyer.

Stan
