I thought i would post up here first. I bought this cruiser a year ago as a project and i haven't been able to do much with it. This use to belong to Dung (former CCOT mechanic) many years ago. As many of you know he had that shop in Garland and if i remember correctly they shut him down for running a business out of his house. Well several of his cruisers went to a storage place in garland. After sitting there for several years the owner of the storage unit started selling off some of his stuff and i ended up buying his 1984. He put a pop up sunroof in it and did some body work to the truck. I do not know anything about it the truck or when it last ran. It needs a carb and a tune-up. I am in the middle of the car rebuild and i have bought tune-up parts for it. Everything is there and intack and just needs to be put back together. Interior is all there, body is pretty straight with minor dings on the driver door. This is a 100% stock truck. It has 170K on the ODO. I have put a batter in it to see what would happen and all the electrical worked. Couldn't start since it doesn't have a carb. Its been parked in my garage for the last year and i just pulled it out.
I bought for $1600 and would like to atleast get my money back. Its comes with parts for a tune-up, new rear and front bumpers and other misc parts. Not a bad cruiser for the price. only surface rust on the frame and none that i have seen on the body. Would make a good DD or if someone wants to get creative and make it a crawler. I do not have a title to the truck but i did get a bill of sale. There are no leans on this truck and it has a clean record. It was last registered in 06'. A bill of sale will go with the truck.
