Purchased a PowerTank from a buddy. Had it tested and filled. Played around with it a bit and all was good.

Packed it up on a trip, went to use it, and no go. Left it as it (tank open and second knob open) and came back to it... it worked :hmm:

Used it and shut it down. Went to use it again... and it wouldnt work again.

My regulator is older but probably very similar to the one in the pic: http://www.powertank.com/products/sfID1/38/productID/8

Do I need to lube the inards? Possible issues??

Most regulators are repairable/rebuildable. Since CO2 inflation isn't a very critical application with regard to precision regulation, why not take it apart and clean it and check it out? There isn't that much to them. No lube on regulators.

Thanks Pin. Havent had much experiance with them. I am gonig to take your advice and just start pulling the think apart.

I did hear back from Powertank and they have provided a few options, if all else fails.

Thanks calstyl2... that was on of the options. Failry reasonable as well. They also suggest a new hose with their new hi-flo regulator.

Pulling it apart this weekend :D
