We are very excited to finally get our Japanese aftermarket options loaded to the CruiserTeq.com site. We've been offering these for quite some time but hadn't had them photographed and loaded until this week.

As many of you know the OEM Toyota replacement front upper and lower control arms are crazy expensive. Retail is over $493 each for the uppers and $501 each for the lowers, that's nearly $2000 for the set (though we retail them for less). Aftermarket import options from China and India exist and for a "get by til next month" they are a workable option, particularly for stock duty Land Cruisers. However for those wanting/needing long lasting Japanese quality without the OEM Toyota cost, our 555 options are fantastic, $950 gets you a full set of 4 arms. Doing aftermarket caster/camber correction upper control arms such as SPC and just need new lowers? No problem, everything is also sold individually to cater to your wants needs.

Alright amigo! Just ordered them for my 2005 Land Cruiser with 260,000 miles along with the SPC Heavy Duty Rear Trailing arms, and the Toyota Sway Bar Bushings kit. As of recent it's felt like I'm steering a large boat. Hopefully this fixes it.
Kurt would you recommend any other bushings or replacements while I'm in there?

The only one you'll want to have is the front lower control arm inner bushing that is installed on the frame, so not part of the arm. We offer it a handful of ways including two rubber options:

I’ve got torn upper ball joint boots on both sides, and I’m debating my course of action. At 219k, a full upper control arm replacement/ rebuild probably makes more sense than doing just the ball joints.

I’m considering throwing these “cheapies” on and then taking my time with a rebuild/ refinish of the originals as time and finances allow. I’ve got a few other issues that need addressing as well and as is life, “cruiser funds” are spread thin.

We consider the CruiserTeq branded units great for daily driver applications. For those seeing off-road use with taller suspensions and more flex... the 555 or OEM are the better way to go imo. Hope that helps!
