Please check out the truck listed above. I need a truck for my lawn company here in Orlando. I think I want an old Toyota dually. Was the dually a factory option, or is it something people did. What’s your opinion of the 22RE motor? I probably will weld a ramp on the back of the truck to drive my mowers up on.

Any info on this kind of truck would be appreciated. I am not familiar with old Toyota Pickups. New to Toyota in general.

I had an 86 w/ a 22r motor first vehicle bought it new at 14yrs old. sold it 5 years ago to a buddy at work. and regreted it ever since. it's got 240k on it and I think i'm wearing him down.

not sure if the 1ton dually was a factory option or not. the little 4 banger kicks@#$ but not sure it will be great to do any heavy hauling.

Good luck

based on milage, its a good truck.
still lots of life left.

you cant tell by pictures how well it was maintained, even if they were the best pics, shot by nat.

the only 2 things that may need to be done is maintainence timing chain, and guides. and maintainence valve adjustment.

the toyotas were made with a dually platform.
but a incomplete chassis. meaning the dump bed is not factory.

and the engine pic looks a bit rusty.

a truck from NJ is bound to have a ton of rust under it.
thats the only reason i wouldnt buy it.
