Your opinion on this GX460 at a dealer lot?
Wife wants out of her GS350 F-Sport AWD and back into an SUV. GX460 seems to be in the sweet spot for what she's looking for. Wanted to stay under $30k for a used one. There have been 3 we were interested in, but either we find a problem with it or it gets purchased before we can get to it.
Looked at this one today:
2012 Lexus GX 460 for sale in San Antonio - JTJJM7FX1C5048617 - North Park Lexus at Dominion
2012 Premium with the colors she likes. 105k miles, and they've come down to $26,000 from $27,995. I think I might be able to wiggle a little more off the price. While I would prefer to find one with fewer miles I know they're stout rigs that will go many more.
Problem is that 2nd and 3rd owner skipped the 60k and 90k services. Or if the services were completed they didn't get it done at a Lexus dealer. I'd be a serious buyer if it wasn't for the skipped services.
I'm comfortable with my knowledge of 100 and 200 series Land Cruisers as far as buying used, but not so sure about these rigs. Leaning toward passing on this one and continuing the search - what do you fellas think?
I'm hoping to do something soon, my wife keeps wanting to use my 200. I might have to drill a hole in my 200's muffler, the noise from the Doug Thorley headers and exhaust on my 100 is the only thing keeping her away from it.
