After only getting out to use this machine three times this year I have decided to put it up for sale (Wife hates camping, thus the three time use this year). I am looking to sell or trade this for a 76-83 FJ40; do you have one you would like to trade?
I am the original owner of this and it has only been driven by myself. After about 100 miles I added a turbo charger made by Unleashed Motorsports in AZ ($2000); this immensely helps with climbing and high speed compared to stock models. I do have all the original parts if someone wants to convert back to stock, which it will still run fine. Currently there are 25" Dunlop tires on the buggy all the way around; I also have the original 27's that I will include; both sets have good tread. The buggy has 350 miles on it.
Joyner is a US based company, these machines come out of Arizona and are very solid. They are not like the cheap buggies you see at Sam's Club or Costco.Seats 2 with 4 point harnesses, 650cc motor, 4 speed manual transmission, 2000lb electric winch, Holley Blue fuel pump, K&N air filter, Iridium plugs, 4 wheel independent suspention, electric cooling fan w/radiator, large fuel tank (can run for days), plenty of cargo room with three cargo racks, TONS of fun to drive and extremely clean. This buggy has been run on fully synthetic oils since the break-in. Has never been wrecked, rolled, jumped or anything else you would not want to happen. I have also added a 12v outlet under the dash for electronics (like a compressor, phone charger or GPS).
I also have a NorthStar Unistar drive-on drive-off trailer that I will sell with this buggy for $800 more ($1300 new, bought new same time as buggy); I will not sell the trailer seperatly until the buggy is sold.
Questions? Call/text my cell phone (Scott 612-310-7233) I can also be reached by email (650spider@gmail.com). To see pictures, click here - ksl.com - Ad Listing
Asking price is $4990 if you are interested in just buying
