I disagree. Since I stared at his 78 beige 40 everyday I know it's not. That's an older tailgate too.

Correct and you'd know since you had a vested interest in said garage... :D

just saw a prissy gold lexus with manly mud tires at the firestone in greensboro....HighPoint rd. :D

Who has the white 55 on Hopson Rd. in Cary? Just sitting in front of the house. Saw it today.

Sometimes I drive by there on my way to work. I've seen the guy out there with it before but never stop because I'm usually headed through near rush hour.

Way to stop by... I'm bored man

not everyone can wheel lexus. Stay strong Ryan.

Parker is there much wheeling in DC? Or surrounding areas?

surrounding areas, yes, decent wheeling at least. Its called the George Washington National Forest/ Shenandoah Valley etc, more wheeling than around Havelock.. . Back in the day, you could wheel in Rock creek park, which is in the heart of the city. Wish that were still the case.

Sorry Ryan. Wasnt driving but barely saw you parked behind the shop as we passed. I didnt know you worked up this way; we will have to schedule our meetings around closing time then.

Definitely.. Id love to leave this stressful hell hole and go directly to some good friends and good beer for some cruiser talk... You live around here?

In Kinston on 12/30 - sitting in the median with nobody inside. Would have offered help, but nobody was there...

And then saw this '89 with ~220k on the clock for sale at Massey Toyota (Dozer's original "birthplace"). $8,500. Boy, the 60 series is really feeling the $love$ right now in the used car market.

I talked to a young guy about it that said he's been driving it for the past year. Ryan Kelley was his name IIRC. He didn't seem to be too involved in the heritage aspect when I tried to tell him about Dozer and ONSC.

2 cruisers in 2 miles nice! Ive seen the 60 a few times. Its been there a few months

it will probably be there quite a bit longer for $8,500

It's already been there for several months..I love the blue color. The 40 in Kinston surprises me..I've not seen a single 40 in this part of the state - unless I'm pulling in my driveway :D

Sent from my EVO using IH8MUD

you need to open your eyes they are all over the place :)

Atom borrows a white one from his buddy all the time for photos.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post in here or not since I'm not a member. Anyway, I own a white 87 FJ60 and I'm in Kinston daily. I saw the green FJ40 earlier that week and was quite surprised to see it. Waved at the driver but I'm not sure he saw me. I figured he was just passing through.
The blue FJ62 at Massey has been there a while. Ryan (the dealership owner's son) told me they picked it up at auction in the western part of the state and he drove it a while but wanted an old Bronco instead. Not sure what he is driving now, I only know him from picking up parts there every now and then.
First time I drove up to Massey in my 60 you would have thought I had a bunch of strippers in the truck the way every body (including Ryan and his dad) came out to look at the truck. :grinpimp:
