My bro-in-law is giving me a york a/c compressor. Any ideas on mounting it to the 3FE?

I cant see how there is room. And how would you run the belts? Get a air tank. Are you comming for the July ride?

Jon Held has a Yolk on his 92 w/3fe, he removed the smog pump and did some other mods to make it work.

I could get away with no smog pump here in 'Sippi since we aint got no smog police. Kccruisers is currently fabbing up a bracket for the 3fe.

I think I'm out for the July ride. Looks like ICBM is gonna be my next wheeling opp. I still need to get some hubs.

jestard, you might look at a Jap style flat compressor. Not sure if the york will fit upright under that hood. Should I plan on staying with yo in Jackson? If so I want the big BED!

It might fit if I put one of those wide MOPAR scoops on the hood :D . I'll see when it gets here. The york is free so I might as well try. Yeah, I'll give you the big bed if you promise to wash your stinky crack before you get in. I'm not spooning with you this time though :flipoff2:

How big of an air tank do you think I could fit under my truck. Bro-in-law also has some pretty dang big tanks off of a Peterbuilt.
York+big ass tank=lotso volume :)

could go pretty big if you could rig up something where the spare tire normally fits

I like where this is leading  Next thread,,,rear bumper and tire carrier options :D

Which Jap style compressors don't rely on freon as a lube?
