Spent hours on search, nothing came up close to what I am seeing. :)

OK, I have a 2000 LC and a 2003 LX. The 2000 is my trail rig, the LX was driven by the ex. The LX had a 7 blade connector already on the truck, with the OEM bracket. Here is a pic of it off the truck:

and the adapter on it:

and where it attached on the LX

I thought I could just unhook it from the LX and attach it to the LC and yay I have trailer wiring!! (And no I cannot tow with the LX right now, it is overdue for a timing belt) But...here is what is under the LC

Hmm. Saw a part number on the LC, going into the frame and assuming up to the tire jack area.

Any thoughts? Obviously I cannot plug this 7 blade connector anywhere into the LC. I stopped by the dealer, and he typed on the computer for 30 minutes, but only found a whole trailer harness for $300 and it had numerous connectors.

Hoping to tow the popup I just bought up to the mountains on Friday. Will probably hit the trailer shop tomorrow, but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas.

Thanks all!

Tim

03-07 is prewired for the 7-pin/blade connector (brake controller, charge cable, etc.)
98-02 is prewired for only the 4-pin

If you only need the wiring of the 4-pin (no electric brakes), they sell plug and play 4-pin as such:

If you need the brake controller and the other features of the 7-pin, you'll need to wire in those in your self.

ahh, thanks!! Knew I was missing something.
