and yes, I did do a search. ;)

Besides the out of stock Outback rack, ARB and TJM, who makes a rack that attaches to the existing mounting holes in the roof?

I'm not keen on those racks that mount to the factory rails per say.

I kinda dig this TJM one though...

I am waiting for Slee to get the African Outback 1/2 rack in stock for my 100. Just sent an email to Slee about 20min's ago.

Hey rzpapp, you got pics of that paint matched ARB yet? I'd love to see how it turned out. :) I believe that's what I'm seeing in your avatar, no?

Slee did mention he brought back some racks...

That is one good looking truck RZ.

Can't wait to get my diff drop and t-bars on.

That looks really nice! You had your's powder-coated right? I love the color.

I like the IPF 800 MSR's. I've been trying to decide on them or the Hella 4000's. I like the rectangular look of the 800's, but the 4000's are my all time favorite off-road lights. I think the 800's may fit the ARB better though. The 4000's are pretty big.

Great looking 100! Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks guys!

I liked the look of the IPF800 vs the IPF900 (round ones) though most people seem to have the 900's. I think the 900's look better on the Sahara bar. On the Bull bar they stick out too much, both are 130watt

The bumper came powder coated black (though it was smooth looking finish, not glossy...). Then a local body/paint shop painted it "Thunder Cloud".

I got the diff-drop and OME t-bars when I did the lift... no CV seepage yet, of course my truck is only 18mo old.

Is CV leakage common once your adjust the t-bars, or is that where the diff drop comes in to alleviate the angle issue?

Mine have some leakage. I haven't done anything about it yet. I have right at 80k miles on my 01 and they were dry as a bone before lift. Now they are slinging poo all over the underside. I have the diff drop kit, but still have some leakage. I need to do a search on that thread dealing with the boots. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Its a comon problem when one cranks the t-bars (OME or not) to lift the front to match the OME 2" lift (with either 865 or 866) springs. However I think its made worse that most people lift older 100's and the CV boots are made of rubber and have lost some flex... I would imagine that replacing them with new ones would stop the leakage.

Mac's wife: What's that leaking under the truck?

Mac: The CV boots.

Mac's wife: Why are they leaking? We only have 24k on it?

Mac: Because I wanted to jack it up even more.

Mac's wife:

rzpapp - That is a great looking truck! I had almost convinced myself not to color match, but man, I think you just made me do an about face!

On roof racks, the African Outback product has the strongest mounting system I have seen yet for the 100 Series. It actually comes with two complete roof-length mounting rails that bolt to the six factory holes on each side, then the rack bolts to the rails. Spreads the load out over the entire length of the roof.

As for leaking CV boots, I changed the CV retaining clamps and tightened them up. The leaks are no more. $6 worth of straps and $10 clamp tightening tool.

Those pictures have just about convinced me to give up on the diesel converted 60 idea and just get a 100...

That is one nice rig, definitely like the colored matchedARB!!!

That's the ticket! Make sure you get the boots regreased and then seal 'em up like hoser suggested.
