These threads are popping up left and right on the 2 hundy forum...ha... Picked up a low mileage 1 owner 2009 LX570 yesterday and couldn't be happier.. This is my first LX, owned a bunch of cruisers.. I wanted a land cruiser, but the LXs are a whole lot easier to find at least in my neck of the woods.. Well here she is:

I tried crawl control on lowest speed in a fairly flat pothole sized gravel rode and damn what an experiance lol.. Sounded like the rig was gonna explode underneath me lol..that s*** was loud ...normal? Got some questions, under crawl control, does is disengage when shifting from Reverse to forward vise versa? Also the tire slippage light (one with tires and squiggly lines) kept on flashing rather than staying lit under crawl control, again is this normal? Thanks guys.. Sorry bout the dumb questions, my lx didn't come with the owners manual..somehow it got lost at dealership... Waiting for dealership to order a replacement one..

Congratulations! I don't have any answers for you as I just bought one as well, lol. Heh, being semi-local, where do you store all your cruisers?

The noise is normal and you get used to it pretty fast. Or work in forward or reverse and it is amazing in reverse. I spun out on a wet, snowy hill and tried to back down. I ended up sliding about 10 feet with the wheels locked up so I put it in Crwl and backed down about 400 meters with my feet off the pedals and without any slippage. The squiggly sign just means that the traction control is detecting slippage.
