but how hard would it be to turn your AC into somthing you could fill your tires up with?
 
Easy I think.

Just place an oiler on the intake side and a water/oil seperator on the output.

do the normal stuff with the maninfold and wire in a regulator.

one of the guys in our club did this with his jeep and it has been working for a couple of years

Using the stock compressor, you will have to add oil into the compressor every so often. Normally the freon acts as a lubricant. So then you will also need an oil separator to keep oil out of the air hose. York compressors have a crankcase so you just fill up the case with oil and your good.
