WTT (Maybe) 24Volt Warn X800i for 12V 9.5 or bigger

I've got a Warn X8000i, 24V winch with some weather exposure and probably a few pulls on it. I've opened it up and re-greased it (with Aeroquip) .

I was considering trying to use it in my 12V FJ with two batteries, but I'm thinking it's going to be a PITA.

SOOOOOO. . . If you've got something beefier, in the 9500 range or larger in similar condition, then let me know.

I might be into a trade.

Winch is in Vancouver.

I have a 24 V truck but no winch yet. Actually, I wasn't planning on one until next fall or so. What are you asking for your winch? Cheers, John

I have no idea. I don't really need the cash, all i'd like is a winch that i can use.

That's okay. After the IP rebuild, I'm not really in a good cash position right now. I was actually thinking a PTO winch was going to be my best bet. You don't see many 24 V winches for sale. Anyways, I also don't have a bar for a winch yet. I have a line on a bar in Calgary but have to wait for the owners new ARB bar to arrive. If no one bites on the trade, then let me know what you want to sell it for. John
