I just moved to SF a few months ago from Denver, and would much rather have a soft top out here. I saw the ad for next month's swap meet, and figured I'd post this up to see if anyone might be bringing a soft top there that might be interested in the deal. Or maybe someone that can't make it to the meet...
My top is in fairly good shape. All glass is good. It was hit with some rattle can, but there was only a couple minor spots of surface rust before then. The interior is seafoam green, and could use a good cleaning. It needs a headliner, and the top has a bubble vent (there when I bought it). There's no key for the tailgate, but the rear latch works fine. It has the cutout for wipers on top, which I believe means it's compatible with all years, but somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm interested in any top you may have that is black. While I'd love to have an OEM style top, I'd probably lean more towards a SuperTop for easier repair and replacement down the line.
I'll be keeping my hard doors, but it'd be nice to get matching soft doors as well.
Don't worry, that's headliner adhesive inside, not rust. It's fiberglass afterall.
I'll try to make it up to the swap meet to meet some more locals, and start getting involved in the club, but knowing I have a deal ready to go would give me some peace of mind.
