WTB vent pull asembly RHS (1 Viewer)

The vent rod I have is fine, it attaches to this clip which swivels or pivots on the vent and allows operation of the vent. Does anyone know whether it is possible to remove this clip from the vent by taking the vent off? Or is the clip not removable?

If anyone has a spare one of these lying around, let know. The 'clip', for want of a better term, has sheared in half on mine, on the RHS.

Mine's a 1977.

I might have sorted one out, via offkilter. I'm in Melbourne Australia. However, i'm sure I'm not the only one to have mistaken the vent pull rod as a bonnet release ! They're mostly broken in Australia. Either what I did or the contraption wears out, but i doubt it.

There'll be someone else wanting one for sure. Thanks for your reply.
