So we are in serious need of a new truck since the 60 is up on blocks for the foreseeable future and it has too many rust-throughs to function as we need it to anyway.
Our budget is $5000 including any shipping that would need to be sorted out, so Let's just say $4000 as a safe max price.
I am a Search and Rescue K9 handler and do a lot of driving with the dog. Dog is often in the truck for long periods of time to mitigate effects of over exposure to extreme heat and cold so the heat and A/C must be 100% functional. I'm not concerned with mods but the truck must be turn-key, reliable and as rust free as possible. Nothing is worse than having a great running rig that rots from the inside out. We've suffered through 2 of those already. Not looking to go there again.
I'm looking at an old used Subaru impreza wagon this week but I'm not really comfortable with taking a low to the ground wagon into some of the terrain we often encounter.
If anyone on here has ANYTHING that will suit our needs, please feel free to send me info and pics. This is just a last ditch effort. In a few days we may have to settle for the Subi.
