WTB Drivers door top hinge

I am looking for a clean drivers door top hinge for my 71 55. I need one that doesn't have a loose pin or slop in the hinge. Mine is too loose and I don't know if I can repair it. If anyone has a replacement for sale, let me know what you want for it.

if you press out the pin, fj40 door bushings work. SOR.com also has rebuilt hinges for sale. I just put some on my 73 and its magic.

battle and rsb cruiser and pygmalion have nice threads on rebuilding the hinges; a lot less $ than SORs; although SOR rebuilds are very nice!

FYI, the top hinges on my fj55 are the same on both sides. I think all of them, but not sure.

all the used ones I have found have slop in them and will need a rebuild; so unless you get very lucky and find a nearly new one you will be needing a rebuild....battle found a very nice rebuild kit out of napa at a very reasonable cost; on the hinge rebuild tread started by fastjim11............rsb_cruiser had a brilliant solution by making the hinges greasable but it is a bit more involved and entails some machining/reaming and tapping, SOR will rebuild them but they have a core charge so if the used one you find is sloppy you can send it in and get a rebuilt one.....makes a very very big difference in the comfort and not to say the least it might save you some door damage if the spring pops out from a lot of wear as mine did

I will see what Ige finds and at least I have a backup if I get it rebuilt or try it myself.
Otherwise I will shop at SOR. I have been happy with everything I have ever purchased from them so I can assume the hinges will be worth the money.
