Getting set for my third diesel conversion... this time with a 1HZ. I'd like to drop it into an 80 series. Anyone have one in decent shape but with a blown engine? Fried transmission? I'm in Seattle but could arrange shipping or pick-up for the right rig.

What's your budget? I saw a locked 94 recently with 260k plus miles, rebuilt tranny, faded paint on the roof, repainted hood and etc..

Depends on the truck I guess... $5-$7k seems reasonable... though if I found one with an engine that was worth re-selling that might okay too.

I've got a '91 for sale at the low end of your range.

It's a daily driver and in pretty good shape but leaks oil like crazy.

I've got a 95 for sale with 228,000. Runs and drives great. Rear main oil leak. Front seat bottoms cracked. Very good condition otherwise. Probably slightly below your price range.
