Correct time period is 1/75 to 9/77. Easiest way to tell is the motor was in the windshield and it does not have the washer nozzle at the top of the windshield. These were smaller than the later ones. If your looking for both wiper and cover it may be possible to use the later type. https://www.sor.com/cat192.sor Link takes you to the early wipers, click on 75-84 for tech tip. I'm not sure if I have a spare or not on a 76 windshield frame I have from a roll over (not mine) but if I do I'm keeping it for my 76 since these seem hard to come by.

thx John for the info, SOR looks like they only carry the larger 78+ motors according to the link?

That is correct but I guess there is a way to adapter those to the 75-77 models. Unless you working on a 100% correct or trying to return it that to 100% might be a option. I remember having a loose wiper and cover but believe it was the later style. I have a general idea of it's location but probably have had eyes on it in a decade.
