Hey all - does anyone have a set of these they would like to sell?

Thanks

I have some
let me guess, no rust?

Now that you mention it...sure! It's for the troopy, so some surface rust would be good.

Someone recently mentioned that the late model tubs have a slightly different gate opening in the tub, so the barn doors don't fit tightly. Can anyone confirm this?

BTW - nice avatar...when did you pick up the space ship? Does it have a full cage?

I just took 2 doors and welded them to make a tailgate and they have a gap that might be up to 1/4" on each side (75 tub)

did the same thing. Kept the left hinges, and moved the middle latch to the end. Welded the hook to the tub. Works well, but I would lay money that gary's looks better :)

I used 3 hood hinges that I cut down on the bottom

I did the homemade tgate years ago on my 40 came out well
used side hinges cut down and welded to gate
stock tgate works too
late model tubs have rounded bottom corners vs. square corners on pre 79

not mine
was at the bar the other day
just some Martians passing thru, said it was his wife's saucer
I almost got them to trade for the 80, but once they found out the oscillation overthrusters were rusty, they backed out

I think SOR has some stainless aftermarket O-thrusters, but they are spendy. Since it doesn't need to pass Federation Emission Standards, just remove them and install the G-Force Flux Capacitor upgrade...more power and cloaking.

i always find stock best for a clean and quiet cross-dimensional re-entry:cheers:

I saw that same space ship at Vintage Off Road for $2M.
