Wishful thinking,I guess,but I thought I'd give it a shot.

I need the two angle pieces from the back of the frame.I could use the tire carrier too but it's not important.

I borrowed this pic from buckroseau's thread - one of rhinoliners I think.

I have the two angle pieces. Each one is cut in two.

I have the piece which is missing in the picture -it goes on top of the tire carrier brace.

I also have the two small 'c' pieces which are hidden in the picture - these are at the very rear of the frame under the rear cross-member.

All parts have rust and pitting but not rusted through. Some areas are obviously thinner than what they were when it rolled off the assembly line. The worse areas are where the metal overlapped like rivet areas around the rear shackle hangers.

I could get some pics but give me a few days.

I'd love to see those pics. I didn't realize mine was missing a brace above the spare tire carrier.

Rhinoliner, Sorry, I was wrong. I looked through Matt's thread and realize now that there are two styles, early and late perhaps? Anyways, my frame was the style in the picture below. Picture is from Matt's thread post #293:

My frame was a '64 so I assume that this is the early style frame.

Thanks for the reply.

I'd like to see pics when you can post them up.

You say they're cut in two - that's what I want to see.As long as they could be made usable again I'm interested.Mine is a '78.Are the angle pieces the same.I assume they are.Not too concerned about the carrier,I just want my frame to be somewhat sound.

Any others out there?

Edit: miker I just saw your post.I would need all those parts. You can PM me a price.

Cool, I was just thinking that if I needed to fab something up for that it would be a lot easier before I put the bed on. Thank you for the clarification.

Of course, at the rate I am moving, it may be another year before I ever put the bed on my truck. :o

No problem, I owed you that after making a bad statement.

LOL, yeah, I know how that goes. The bed on mine will off, then on, then off again, then on, then off again...I don't how many times before its on for the last time.

Another idea for someone more knowledgeable than me - is there another cruiser frame that uses the same angle pieces? I know that the 40's are different but maybe the LV or 55??

Thanks Mike, the pics will be great. I'll check some measurements on an LV frame too.

early fj45 lpb frame parts #5. Last two pics.

The angle pieces were cut with a Sawzall so the amount missing is about 1/16 of an inch.

Rivets were drilled out.

I weighed all the parts together and they were about 26 lbs. Add several lbs for packaging and figure 30 lbs for the final weight. If you are interested, PM your address and I'll get a ship quote and PM you with total.
