The Alternator I had with my 3B looked worse than that, had it rebuilt and replaced the voltage regulator. Shop only charged $85 plus regulator from dealer was not that much. Good luck,

If lynch does not buy the alternator, put next in line, I could use a spare.

I say go for it. Im looking for one from a bit later model .

I have a spare one that I bought a few years ago to carry on long trips. It has the vac pump also. Shoot me an email if your interested.
