Yeas ya could reach back and grab it but I would inky lock up when parked. When I'm in truck I know I normally. Have my gun next to me at all times. And my passengers have access to a pistol also I have Something for each passenger I case I get taken out. .... Be prepared!

it just as bad on this end . come patrol a night are 2 with a cop you would go out and buy 10 guns
...don't need to... after they are done robbing, stealing and drinking... they go and "get some" and then I see the aftermath and get my chance to meet them then.

I can still reach it. Like Derise said, when I'm in my FJ, my weapon is right next to me. The reason I put it on the passenger side was because it if all the crap under the drivers seat (fuel tank, frame, ect).
I think it's silly that medics and fire fighters aren't allowed to carry.

Unfortunately, some are not very careful with anything... More importantly weapons. Some people would be responsible and courteous. Others would have a power trip... Many of us do "carry" in one form or another.
