John came by today and we made lots of progress. He's incredible. Reattatched an honery manifold which nearly unraveled me earlier in the day. Got the TDC issue straightened out. I doubt I'll make it tomorrow. Lots of little crap left to do. I may try and crank it sunday afternoon.

OK... Hold your breath...

I'll be there around lunch.

Thanks for hosting Clutchee.

Receive the Report...... REPORT!

I would like to thank everyone for coming out to Clutchee's ranch for the knuckle rebuild yesterday. We managed to get it finished after hours of beer, marijuana, band-aids and some pulled chicken and pork delivered by Hooters Girls (ok, a little hyperbole). I couldn't have done it by myself. Jeff, aka Tiny Dancer, and Brian worked their arses off and I provided apprehension while drinking Brian's collection of exotic beer stored in his Davidian underground bunker- the door of which is hidden by an FJ-40 in 17 pieces, rumored to be owned originally by Saddam Hussein.

Heath and Lash also managed to replace a steering stabilizer bar on Heath's nifty fifty-five. Lash's son gets the "I am surrounded by idiots so I am going to clock out of this world and enjoy my gameboy" award for good behavior.

I believe Clutchee documented the afternoon with digital pics.

Oh, Brian- I got a call from an investigator with the Dept. of Environmental Quality regarding 40 acres of dead corn. What should I tell him?;)

Well first off Ben.....if Ben would have not been cracking jokes we could have had this wrenching done quicker but with all the , jokes, dancing, & general heckling from the crowd-I think we did good!:grinpimp:
Bodean="tiny dancer":flipoff2:
Choctaw for drinking beer & lil taw for lending a hand!
Jack for making a appearance.
A special thanks to Lash, Heath, who worked outside.
Jessica & Willie for showing & taking a look at crazy people functioning.
And my wife for putting up with it all....she fits in just fine around this bunch!:D

Never would have guessed it.

Sorry I missed out. Looks like yall had a good time and fumbled through a couple of real projects.

Yes, Greg, you did miss some happy wrenching at Brian's. Believe it or not, I am completely drug free, if you don't count the 14 Advils I took this morning. That picture is of someone who , though resembling me, isn't me. That person is actually working in the photo. I was sitting on the tailgate drinking Brian's beer at the time. ;)

Again, it was a blast. If anyone (except Barry) needs help on their truck soon, let me know. I am very indebted to the club.

Locked and loaded,

Ben

Return to Service

Oh, remind me at the next meeting to tell the story of the "Return to Service" of my 60 after the wrenching event, and how friendly the Sheriff's Department is in Byram, MS.
