Auto Group of San Antonio and Americana Off Road is being kind enough to let us use their garage facilities October 25 for a wrenching day.

We'll have access to lifts and air tools so think about what you need to do with your truck. Make sure it's something that can be done in a short amount of time (preferably under 3 hours). We want to make sure we have enough time to get as many vehicles serviced as possible and let those that are sacrificing their free time off work get home early enough Saturday afternoon.

Jen, Kelly and myself will bring and cook some fajitas or chicken. Maybe someone can volunteer to bring sides or drinks.

See you there!

Saturday, October 25, 10:00 a.m. at Auto Group of San Antonio. Hwy 281 and Brookhollow.

Cool I will be there to help wrench, dont really need anything done on my truck except brake bleeding....still dont have the pedal feel i want.
What other jobs are we going to do?

BTW i can bring rice, beans tortillas etc.

Just noticed this is the same weekend as ICBM. I take it no one is going there?

That sounds great!

Hey, I got that brake bleeding adapter finally. We can do your brakes that morning if you want. That's a nice quick job. Probably well under an hour with the pressure bleeder. Make sure you get enough brake fluid to refill the entire system.

Depends....that is the same weekend for TTORA's Annual Holloween Run.

Fun! I've got a box full of crap I ordered from CDAN for the 80 that I could put on.

No ICBM for me. I found out they have NO RULES

no rules?

no rules?

That's their motto. Not even a drivers meeting :crybaby:

How am I going to annoy the hell out of everyone by trying to make them go to it???

Ok, this is less than 2 weeks away. Let's not to embarrass ourselves by only 3 club members showing up!

Who else is committing to attend?

1. Brett N
2. Kelly
3. Jen

Halloween Taco Party? Other suggestions? How about Off-Road movies on the big screen? Free raffle for swag? What will it take to get ya'll to go?

Let's make this the best event ever!

I have a feeling my cruiser will already be there or have just left :grinpimp::hmm: BUT since we should make a good impression and get a good amount of people to go, I'm in. It is quite a nice gesture to offer there facility out for us
1) for free and
2) on a weekend.
It would be rude and pretty f'ing lame if only 3 or 4 people went.

Guys and gals, try to make even if you dont have anything to wrench on. Take the day off, call in sick, forget class, pass on saturday cartoons, whatever! Really try to come out if only for a little bit.:D

Since I am not going to the Holloween Run...I may show up to do a brake line change (front) and maybe redo my front right CV boot. The factory one that I trimmed to use with my ORS CV boot has split and I see some grease spinning out. I need to stop by the dealer to get a new boot to trim and refit into the ORS CV Boot.

What type of drinks?

Right on, brother!

Sweet. I'm bringing my power bleeder so we can do Josh's brakes so no reason we can't flush yours at the same time.

The usual drinks should be good. Water, beer, etc.

Need a favor to ask...I will not have time to stop by the dealer to get a inner CV Boot for my 01' Taco with grease packs. ... I have to travel to Mexico tomorrow morning for the rest of the week.

Could some one get One for me and I will pay for them on Saturday?
Let me know....because, I not, I will see if I can get one at the parts stores down in Eagle Pass.
Thanks.

FYI autozone carries these. Good luck changing the boot. You need a BFH the seperate the cv axle. You should of just ordered the high angle boots from all pro since yours it ADD front axles and they are always spinning.:flamingo:

Nope...no one here in New Braunfels carries the Inner CV Boot.
Not even the damn dealer here!
Ended up ordering one....scheduled to arrive Tuesday....just in time for me to head to Mexico for the rest of the week.
Fun.
