FREE Would you buy a 200 series from Houston?

Found a decent deal... always been leery of buying from areas shortly after a flood/hurricane has hit? I Don't know if I am being too picky or if I am justified in my concern. Any thoughts? The vehicle is being offered by a dealership that sells a different manufacturer's vehicles.

I plan to have a PPI (pre purchase inspection) done but in my VERY recent experience this has proved useless. Toyota of Dallas did my last PPI and missed two very severe issues.

Well, the car arrived Thursday. I bought the black on tan 2010 LX from Sewell Audi North Houston with 150K on the odometer. It was a one owner with every service performed from 5K miles to 145K miles. When the car hit 150K (almost on the dot) , he went to Sewell and traded it for a new Audi. Exterior has some rock chips from highway usage (20K/year average miles driven) but interior is like new and mechanically it is very stout. After my last debacle, I value mechanical condition over exterior all day. Depending on how long I keep the car, I may have the front bumper re-sprayed to take care of the pitting from bugs etc.

Thank you 32! I think the key is the way I communicated with them. I hinted litigation and documented every bit of communication. I can share the message I sent that garnered an immediate offer from the dealership to buy it back if you like.
