Hey y'all. My name is Zach Girone and im a student at CSU and have lived in charleston my whole life. I have owned a 97 cruiser for alittle over a year now and love it. I saw that there were local cruiser clubs and thought, hey maybe there is one here. And there is! Y'all seem like an awesome group of guys with the the hog hunting (im a big bowhunter) and oyster roasts and stuff. I would love to become a part of the group and any info I need to know would be awesome!
 
welcome Zach.... We usually have MEET AND GREETS every month or so....where we meet at a local place to eat, talk, check out changes to our Land Cruisers and plan new or upcoming events. We also usually do a couple runs to Uwharrie Forest every year to camp and wheel the trails there...plus a couple other events.

Our next event is March as many members had other plans for this weekend so the meeting was canceled. I work up on Rivers not far from you near Aviation Exit.....and BBQBoy can be found most days at Bessingers BBQ on Savannah Highway.

I am heading out on traditional bowhunt tomorrow evening through Sunday but maybe we can meet up next week if you dont get down to Bessingers before then...and we can talk, check out your rig, and give you a couple stickers.
 
Yeah that would work out great next week or weekend sometime. And I'll be there in march, I look forward to meeting everyone!
 
Welcome Zach anad glad you stopped in to say hi. Come to the next meet & greet and meet the guys, and some gals.

I have not seen a gal since Liz came to the buffalo wild wings meeting a long time back. But then I only drop in once or twice a year now. None the less I am pretty sure that Brock and bbq boy and I can run off any new ones.:)
 
Sounds like quite an interesting group of people haha so what all trucks do y'all have?
 
we have members representing....40 series, 60 series, 80 series, 100 series, 4Runner.....

LexTech Automotive on James Island is a member and does a lot for the club. Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach gives us really good discounts on parts and will ship anywhere....just call internet sales and ask for Jamie.

we have a good bunch of people here....need some thick skin sometimes as we dont cut eachother much slack but we have do some wheeling, some eating and drinking, and try to make it fun rather than stressful. Not always successful but we try.

We are glad to have you....look through our Calendar of Events for 2013 and see what is planned...more could happen just need interest and someone to lead the effort like THE GULCHES or Carolina Beach.
 
Wow this is great haha fellow toyota junkies!!! I love working on my land cruiser, just doing pm now but have big plans in the future hopefully. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone on the 16th. I would love to do more stuff with the group like skeet shoots, wheeling, hog hunts, ect...I haven't seen a skeet shoot mentioned yet so maybe that would be a good idea?
 
That's awesome. I love to shoot. I've got some land in Ravenel to hunt and skeet shoot
