FJ 2007, got about 40k miles on it.

Its a 4x4
Its got the locker installed.
Step bars- which I didn't dislike until last night (they seem to only catch mud to get over my pants when I get out of the fj)

-When my tires die, I'll be getting some better ones. Not sure which yet, but I think I'll be staying the same size but better for mud. Not sure how to sell my old tires, but its been suggested by everyone.

-Going to install the hitch sitting in my trunk

-Brush guard and front skid plate

-I want to add betting lighting to it, but I'm not sure about how it would affect gas mileage, and I would definitely fxxx up the wiring.

Some things will be held off on until my warranty expires

---------------------
Got my shackles, straps, and hand winch (good for 4 tons) along with an etool to get myself out of messes.

Crap. I typed a 2? Better go to the edit button. -DONE

The high lift- I know nothing of it except that it was strongly recommended.

Also, got the shackles and straps today- ran into the same genius from yesterday, and ended up towing him out, again, so he tossed me a new 4" strap rated for like 6000lbs and a 3/4" shackle for the help. What [] code do you use for putting a line through something?

Seeing as i mistyped that, is what i have called a locker? You looked under and I think thats what you said I have. And I think you said a track of some kind too

LOL.....

The Hi Lift is a good tool...but a dangerous tool if not experienced or if you dont pay attention.

Yes if you have a Rear Locker button then are good...you also may be able to add ATRAC by just buying the button from Jamie at SPARKS TRD as they were pre-wired at factory....it is behind center console and you use one of the blanks. Unfortunately since it is 2007 you wont be able to use ATRAC and Rear Locker simultaneously....UNLESS you do the ATRAC HACK that is discussed on blue forum (FJ CRUISER FORUM and maybe in mud too).

yes those steps/sliders you have are worst design ever...protect you from octomoms kids in parkign lot of best buy....but hang up on everything in trails. I can recommend BudBuilt...he is in NC and does outstanding work. I had his sliders and skid plates.

Now considering a lift and maybe some bigger tires- got caught in a mud pond sunday- stepped out to see what i was caught on since it didn't look that deep, only to find out it was like a 2 foot shaped like an upside down U. Only thing touching anything solid was my skid plate... ruined my phone taking an accidental swim
any height suggestions?

i was a believer in the Old Man Emu Mediums front and back unless you plan on doing all the bumpers, swingouts, winches, etc...then go with heavies front and back. It will give you about 3 inch lift.

I ran 34 inch tires on my FJC...just barely shy of 34 actually and did not have to cut the frame in front fender wells. Only rubbed on extreme full lock steering wheel turns with all weight on front.
