The recent rash of cat thefts is extremely alarming. Luckily, I usually park my truck in a garage, but I’m worried about being far from home and dealing with a cat theft. Would the auto lower function make it harder to access my cats?

I consider this a reasonable price for the peace of mind. I travel a lot in my LX and often have no idea if I’m in a questionable part of any said town that I’m passing through. Having said that, it’s usually the nice part of town that these thieves are operating in.
Another option, especially if you are not interest yet in skid plates or want to carry the weight around.
